First Running Evening at the Lotus Test Track

Harling AC and Breckland Chasers are proud to announce their first Running Evening on the Lotus Test Track at Hethel, near Wymondham on Friday, 7 June.
There will be a range of races for different ages and abilities and the evening will finish with a BBQ and refreshments.
The race timetable is as follows:
18:30 – 2.5k Junior Race
19:00 – 10k Senior Race
19:05 – 5k Team Race
BBQ & refreshments will be served from the end of the junior race
All races will take place around a 2.5km course around the FIA standard test track, steering pad and pit lane. The surface is level and flat, which will give runners the opportunity for fast times. The course will have a measurement certificate to confirm the distance.
JUNIOR RACE
The Junior Race will take place over one lap of the course. Runners must be between 9 to 15 years on the day of the race. There will be trophies for 1st, 2nd & 3rd boy and girl in under 11, under 13 & under 15 age groups and medals for all finishers.
Entry fees - £5 (affiliated runners), £7 (un-affiliated runners) plus booking fee.
10k SENIOR RACE
The 10k Senior Race will run four laps of the course. Minimum age 15 years. There will be trophies for 1st, 2nd & 3rd male and female and 1st, 2nd and 3rd age-graded male and female runners and medals for all finishers.
Entry fees - £13 (affiliated runners), £15 (un-affiliated runners) plus booking fee.
5k TEAM RACE
The 5k Team Race will be over two laps of the course. This race is a little bit different!
Teams must consist of between 3 & 5 runners, with a minimum age of 13 years. The emphasis is on TEAM. The position of each team will be determined by when their THIRD runner crosses the finish line. There will be trophies for the 1st, 2nd and 3rd teams and medals for all finishers.
Entry fee - £25 per team plus booking fee.
