**** NEW DATE ****

Norwich - Aylsham - Norwich on Sunday, 7th November 2021.

The relay will once again be on the Marriott's Way, which was so popular the last time we ran it in 2019. The route has been shortened to allow us to start later and finish earlier, so we don't run out of daylight! We will start in Norwich (by Halfords) and run in a 10 stage relay to Aylsham (Bure Valley Railway) and back to finish at Whitwell & Reepham Station at around 14:30 for a well earned tea and cake!

The Route:

Slightly shorter than originally attende, to allow for the shorter daylight time.

This is not a race!

Each stage will be run by a group of runners, who will run together at a pace that they are all happy with. You can run as many stages as you like throughout the day, so you can set your own challenge. Note: Four of the stages are suitable for Junior runners (aged 9 plus), as the entire section avoids road crossings and will be run together with a club coach.

What do you have to do?

If you want to join the relay, Follow this link to the STAGE INFORMATION and decide which stages you would like to run, then fill in the following HAC MARRIOTT'S WAY ENTRY FORM.

All our previous club relays have been very popular. A great opportunity to combine some social running with whatever distance challenge you want to set yourself!

We are all looking forward to re-starting training after the current lockdown. It looks like the final part of Step 1 of the COVID-19 Roadmap will go ahead on 29th March, which will allow us restart outdoor training. With that in mind, here is our restart plan:

Senior training will begin again on Monday 29th March at 7pm and return to the normal Saturday and Monday session thereafter.

Junior training will start back after the Easter holidays on Monday 12th April at 7pm.

As we have seen before, the situation can change very quickly but we will keep you updated and informed as and when we hear from England Athletics.

To help keep everyone safe and healthy as we return to running and athletics at HAC, the rules and guidelines we had in place before the lockdown will remain.
